SECOND ANNUAL SAVVY STABLES “FUN DAY”

 A GREAT SUCCESS!!

We had a wonderful day of learning, sharing, and exploring ways to better care for and communicate with our horses!  Thanks to all those who participated!!

  • Heather from Hawthorne Feed in Escondido brought the new Kerrit’s summer line of clothing and it was fabulous!

  • Nicole from Terry’s Feed and Grain in Valley Center brought the latest in fly protection and some of her handmade leather items (for horses and humans) which were beautiful!

  • Becky from Good Hoof Keeping gave us some great information about the advantages of keeping horses barefoot and demonstrated a barefoot trim on Cindy’s horse Vegas.  Good job, Becky!

  • Dawn from Medicine Hat Animal Chiropractic showed us some great stretches we can do with our horses and used Debi’s horse Maddy to demonstrate what a chiropractic treatment involves.  Very interesting!

  • Lydia Hiby (Animal Communicator) gave two wonderful readings of horses and provided us with valuable tips on how we can better understand and communicate with our own horses.  Fascinating!

  • Jessica from Earth Song Ranch shared her knowledge of holistic equine health and well being, and displayed her products which promote a natural approach to horse care and nutrition.  Very informative!

  • Julie of Julie Picot Horse Training (Savvy Stables resident trainer) gave a fabulous driving demonstration with her wonderful horse Blossom.  Julie offered some lucky attendees a chance to try their hand at driving Blossom, too!

  • Cindy Giannini brilliantly demonstrated with Red how natural horsemanship allows us to communicate with our horses in their language using the Parelli Seven Games.  Very inspiring!

  • Mike and Mark cooked up a lunch of burgers with all the fixings.  Yummy!

  • Jan did a marvelous job as ambassador, making everyone feel welcome and helping with any of their needs.  Well done!
