Many thanks to Mike and Cindy Giannini for sharing their piece of paradise with me and my much-loved horse, “Maddie”.   For other horse owners looking for a place to enjoy with their horse,

Savvy Stables may be their perfect solution too.

“Maddie” and I have called Savvy Stables our home for 3 years and couldn't’t be happier.  We have boarded at several barns, so I can say I really appreciate the environment at Savvy.  All of the elements of super caretakers are apparent on the ranch.  Mike and Cindy provide large spaces, 3 meals, careful daily attention and whatever else an individual horse may need. The entire ranch is maintained with the utmost in safety, cleanliness and ENJOYMENT of the horse in mind.

(I actually believe “Maddie” has better care at Savvy than she would at my home….  I could never maintain a barn to Mike’s high standards!)

Hopefully Savvy will provide this great boarding/training/learning/riding/loving horse experience for many more years, and for many more lucky horse people.  In addition, a special thanks to Rodolfo, our always pleasant, and always helpful, ranch hand.

“Cindy is a master at teaching Parelli style natural horsemanship which has allowed me to develop a wonderful partnership with my horse Red based on the principles of love, language, and leadership.  Because of Cindy’s steady support and encouragement, I have learned to communicate more clearly with my horse which has enabled me to improve my horsemanship skills both on the ground and in the saddle.”

“Julie excels at teaching horses and humans.  She has a natural and confident style with horses which makes her so effective in working with them.  Her human students benefit from her ability to teach in a clear and encouraging manner which consistently leads to the goal of excellent results.  Julie’s versatility is evident in her ability to teach multiple disciplines including English, Western, and driving.”

Before I knew about Savvy Stables, I heard a wonderful account from people I had been boarding with in Palmdale.  They had just spent a weekend learning all about the Parelli Training Program there.  I checked the Savvy website and had a chance to see the facility first hand; the photos just give a small part of the wonderful atmosphere and care all the animals get there. It is because of Savvy Stables that I moved myself and my horse to San Diego. It has already been a whole a year; we have learned so much from Cindy’s lessons, and I have deepened my relationship with my horse Traveler.  Julie’s also been a super trainer helping me to get my horse back in shape, and he continues to be more relaxed.  Since I teach animal communication classes, every time my students look at Travelers photo to ask him questions about his life, he sends them back happy thoughts, and also how Mike feeds him fruit from the trees too.

I couldn't’t ask for a better place for us to be, and it’s straight from my horse mouth!
